In The Ordinary

I struggle when it’s my turn to present an engaging story. It feels like you need some extraordinary story or profound thought to share. For the most part my life is pretty ordinary, but God reminds me that He is at work in the ordinary.
On an ordinary day I had what seemed like an ordinary conversation. About a month later we got some news that would mean big changes for us. Immediately God brought to mind that casual conversation. We followed through on it and what an amazing answer it has turned out to be. God was not surprised by any of this but before I knew it had given me the answer. An ordinary conversation on an ordinary day was the extraordinary answer to the circumstances we were about to face.
God is out in front of it all and has a plan that He is working out. We can relax in Him. He has it all under control and if we trust and obey we can see the miracles big and small in the ordinary days.
