It's an exhausting way to live: feeling like it all depends on you to keep everyone and everything together because you're afraid of what might happen if you don't. But what if it's time to finally take that weight off of your shoulders? That's the heart behind the Making Peace With What I Can’t Control Tour with Lysa TerKeurst and Tasha Layton. Through this transformative night of biblical truth and worship, you'll learn to recognize fear-driven control in your life, surrender what was never yours to carry, and encounter the kind of peace that isn’t dependent on other people or circumstances.

Meet the Pastor

Justin Jones, Lead Pastor

Hi! I am Justin Jones, the Lead Pastor here at Eastern Hills Church, and together with my wife Janelle and two boys, Judah and Josiah, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve this church family. I’ve been part of Eastern Hills for over 16 years and stepping into this role of Lead Pastor has only deepened my love for this community and my belief in what God can do here.

We exist as a church to “engage every person to become a passionate follower of Jesus Christ.” We believe that no matter who you are or what you’ve done, God wants to transform your life both in the here and now, and forevermore. We have witnessed firsthand that when people truly understand the Gospel and God’s love for them, their lives are never the same. Our prayer is that this church would be a place for you to discover who God is, become more like Jesus, and engage others with the life-giving message of the Gospel.

We would love to meet you and walk alongside you on your journey. Come join us!

NEXT SERIES - Beginning August 29
BEYOND THE SHORE

In the Gospels, we see different accounts of Jesus calling the disciples to follow Him. Many of the disciples were fisherman, providing for their family using the skills and abilities they had. Life was hard work, but simple and safe. Then Jesus showed up. Jesus was not content to leave them in the simple and safe. He called them beyond the shore, into a new kind of mission. The invitation is the same today. Jesus is calling us out of the simple and safe into new relationships, new opportunities, and a new mission. In this short fall kickoff series, we will be studying these passages from the Gospels and asking ourselves: Am I ready to respond to Jesus’ invitation to go “Beyond the Shore”?
