LYSA TERKEURST
& TASHA LAYTON
It's an exhausting way to live: feeling like it all depends on you to keep everyone and everything together because you're afraid of what might happen if you don't. But what if it's time to finally take that weight off of your shoulders? That's the heart behind the Making Peace With What I Can’t Control Tour with Lysa TerKeurst and Tasha Layton. Through this transformative night of biblical truth and worship, you'll learn to recognize fear-driven control in your life, surrender what was never yours to carry, and encounter the kind of peace that isn’t dependent on other people or circumstances.
Meet the Pastor
Justin Jones, Lead Pastor
Hi! I am Justin Jones, the Lead Pastor here at Eastern Hills Church, and together with my wife Janelle and two boys, Judah and Josiah, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve this church family. I’ve been part of Eastern Hills for over 16 years and stepping into this role of Lead Pastor has only deepened my love for this community and my belief in what God can do here.
We exist as a church to “engage every person to become a passionate follower of Jesus Christ.” We believe that no matter who you are or what you’ve done, God wants to transform your life both in the here and now, and forevermore. We have witnessed firsthand that when people truly understand the Gospel and God’s love for them, their lives are never the same. Our prayer is that this church would be a place for you to discover who God is, become more like Jesus, and engage others with the life-giving message of the Gospel.
We would love to meet you and walk alongside you on your journey. Come join us!

ChatGOD
One of the most discussed items in the entire world right now is AI. It is constantly in the news, most of us are discussing it daily at work or school, and even those that say they don’t want anything to do with it unknowingly use it every day on their smart phone. People don’t just use AI chat bots for simple questions either. Increasingly people are using them as counselors, life coaches, and even as companions. What does this expose about the human heart and more importantly, is this healthy for our relationship with Jesus? This is what we will discuss this summer in our “ChatGOD” series. We are going to be looking through the Psalms, which are the ancient equivalent of working through deep and profound questions. We are going to discover that God has designed us for connection with Him and only when are in communion with Him can we find the answers we seek.
