“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

This verse has been repeating over and over again in my mind lately. The last few months I have been living my emotions in the extremes and as I ride this rollercoaster of feelings, God has brought me to a place of perfect peace. Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t mean that what is to come in the next few weeks will be easy, but I know that I will be in a place of peace. Peace in my future. Peace in my heart. Peace in knowing that God, and only God, knows what the rest of my life looks like.

Through this transition I have been reminded that God does not just care about the big things that affect us. He is interested in the minor things that affect us too. Nothing is insignificant for God. God has taken such great care in the details of my future. No, I don’t know how everything is going to work out, but I do know that it is completely in God’s hands. There is no place I would rather be but in God’s hands.
