Recently I had an event happen that was so unexpected I couldn’t believe it happened. I thought wow this is unbelievable. But I had to believe it because it happened to me. Life has a way of doing this to us. But for the first time in my life, I have a way to handle it. I thought well this is God’s way, and He is in control. I may not understand why, but I can trust Him to handle it. So I’m not worried in the least. Years ago I would have panicked by now. I would have said oh my God what do I do now. But now I know I’m not in control of my fate. We sometimes believe we are, but we’re not. So I don’t have to worry. Thank God for that.
