Point of Contact

The manger where Jesus was laid as a baby was more than a feeding trough for animals. When God touches the common things, they are always changed. A fishing boat becomes a pulpit. Water becomes wine for a celebration. A displaced widow becomes the great grandmother of a famous and celebrated King. And so it goes. Such it was that night. This week we will see how that manger became a touch point where immortality met mortality, where the eternal entered into time for the sake of love. As we will find out this Advent, this was “More Than a Manger.”
