It was a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Similar to the book title, I had a day recently that felt like nothing went right and some things seemed to go very wrong. I spent the day asking God “why” … A LOT! In the midst of it all, I was reminded of a few important truths: most of what I was facing were truly ‘first-world’ problems—frustrating, yes, but not life-threatening. God was still God. He hadn’t changed, and He had a reason for allowing these circumstances, even if I couldn’t see it. I could still trust Him, even in the difficulty. He is still good!
