The Beauty of Change

With every season comes change. I was born and raised in Buffalo, and I love that we have four seasons. Each season has its own beauty. Summer has its warm breezes, long days, and Vitamin C sunshine. Winter has its crunchy snow, unique snowflakes, and building snowmen, along with the wonderful Christmas season. Spring has its beauty of baby animals, blooming flowers, and the smell of rain. And let’s not forget Easter! My favorite season of all is fall, with the start of a nip in the air, the smell of comfort foods, and its beautiful foliage of brown, green, yellow, red, and orange. Every season has its own uniqueness that can be appreciated.

At this time in my life, God has placed me in a season of fall. A season of life where everything seems to be changing fast, but what BEAUTY that change is bringing. God’s timing and plans are always perfect! He has called me here and I thank Him for this beautiful change.

God has reminded me that, “for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 (my emphasis)

When you hear God call, walk in it and you will see what God will do. What season are you in? What beauty is God showing you?

Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us that there is a time for everything.
