Holy Week Devotional
Friday, April 18
Today is Good Friday. One of the definitions of the word “good” is “benefit or advantage to someone or something.” In this case, Good Friday is good for us. Through Jesus’ death on the cross we were given access to a relationship with God. But it required everything of Jesus to bring good to us. Tonight, we will be exploring how what Jesus did on Good Friday shows us how we can achieve victory as well. Please join us in praying for a powerful time to know and experience the person and work of Jesus Christ. And come join us at 7pm. For any young families with kids that plan to come, we will be having a meal beforehand at 5:30pm in the Downtown space (formerly “Underground”) just for you. This is to make it easier for families with young kids to come and experience Good Friday as well. We need to know how many might be coming, though, so please text back to this number letting us know if you plan to bring your family.
