Small Voice … Great Joy!

Dear Lord, thank You for giving me a very special and abundant summer, more than all that I can imagine (John 10:10, Ephesians 3:20)! Thank You so much Lord!
On Memorial Day Weekend when kneeling down to clear the weeds on my patio, there came small voices in gentle whispers (1 King 19:12b): “Don’t just weed, do something about it … Plant something … And they will be your Birthday Present!”
While I do not have much gardening experience, this sounded very interesting and as usual, I said “Yes” to the Lord. Since then, He gave me so much fun following His lead to shop around for flowers, plants, soil, and pots that He wanted me to have. Thank You, Lord, on June 5, my little Patio Garden was built - with eight different types of flowers and four tomato plants to start …. More than I can imagine Lord, thank You, Lord!
Every day thereafter I just do what I know - water them, pray over them and once a while prune them. It is only the Lord who can make them grow (1 Corinthians 3:6) in such an eye-catching way that attracts neighbors (different ethnicities/ages/background, their kids and doggies) to stop by and take a look, where many “social and spiritual seed-planting” conversations were triggered … More than I can imagine Lord, thank You, Lord!
As time goes by, the more I see the garden grow and stand so firm no matter sunshine, warm breeze, or even severe storms; the more I am in reverence and awe (Hebrews 12:28) to the Lord’s beautiful design and long more for offering the first fruit of each plant to Him. Thank You, Lord, He prepares my heart - first to consecrate myself and the offering table/utensils followed by soaking deeply in all His Words that relate to first fruit. Then when the days come (August 17 for plant #1 and #3, August 21 for plant #2 and August 22 for plant #4), the offering is no longer just a ritual but instead, a deep intimate worship to Him with all His related Words vividly alive (Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, 2 Chronicles, Nehemiah, Proverbs, Ezekiel, 1 Corinthians, James, etc.) … More than I can imagine Lord, thank You, Lord!
While the Lord gives this Little Patio Garden to me as Birthday Present, He also makes it the Birthday Present for many more! So amazingly He orchestrates flowers, fruit and pictures came out in such a perfect timing to celebrate new birth and birthdays of my dear families and friends that He grants me - locally, nationally, and internationally … More than I can imagine Lord, thank You, Lord!
Dear Lord, thank You for this memorable joyous summer. Thank You that Your ways and thoughts always higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). All for Your Glory, Lord. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!
