A Year of Firsts

Besides all the things that 2020 has brought me, it's been a year of firsts since my Dad passed away in 2019. His 70th birthday, and all the special things we were going to do to celebrate, followed closely by mine was the first thing to hit me. Then came all the holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Father's Day and finally the anniversary of his passing.

There were moments during this past year when I couldn't breathe BUT GOD ... moments when I couldn't take another step BUT GOD ... He came through in big and small ways each and every time.

Pastor Pat has been preaching about HOPE. My dad died with HOPE, and that same hope gets me up each day.

"As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more." Psalm 71:14
