A Closed Door

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Bob and I recently had God close a door on something that we had been praying for. Honestly, it was very disappointing once the door had been closed.

Then I was gently reminded of this verse. God has a plan for all of us. A good plan, but we need to trust Him for it. I think this is a good reminder for all of us when our prayers aren’t answered the way we want them to be. We need to let God be God and put our faith and trust in Him.

Bob and I will never stop praying. But we actually praise Him for shutting that door. God truly is good … All the time!

Enjoy the journey!
