Connection, Connection, Connection

Suk May Yei / Pastor of Cross-Cultural Ministries

“Apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

While “Location, Location, Location!” is the word for real estate industry; I think “Connection, Connection, Connection” is for us, followers of Jesus Christ!

Thank You, Lord for Your TRUTH: “Remain in me and I will remain in you … Apart from me you can do nothing!” (John 15:4a, 5b) Thank You, Lord, for dying for us so that we can reconcile and reconnect with You!

In my faith journey, I always thank the Lord for demonstrating so crystal clear that the closer I connect with Him vertically, the easier I can connect and interact with people horizontally – not just for building my social network, but for expanding the Seed Life – the Lord's Kingdom network for His Glory!

Weeks ago, at a New York State Thruway rest stop, I saw vehicles from Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont and Ontario, Canada! If a thruway rest stop can connect so many people from so many places, then we, with the power of the Holy Spirit, definitely can connect many more people (all nations) for the Lord’s Kingdom!

How? Pretty simple 😊😊😊

First thing first: Get ready!
  1.  Have my spiritual inventory ready: i.e. the Lord’s Words and what “Gospel” means should be in our mind at all times! https://thestoryfilm.com/watch (English), https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Kc8C4naV6BY (Chinese)
  2.  Have my spiritual briefcase ready: keep gospel tracks, bookmarks, web links, etc. handy; say, in a pocket book, pocket, book bag or electronics, etc.!
  3. Have my intentionality ready: be intentional to relay all conversations or scenarios to Jesus!
  4. Have my spiritual antenna ready: be sensitive to what happens around me and make the most of every opportunity (Ephesians 5:16)!

Then when that moment comes, Seed Life the person with JOY!

The Lord is so good. He promises “Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things (our needs) will be given to you.” (Matthew 6:33) So, let us individually and collectively as a church family, with tremendous faith, hope, and love “plug into the Lord’s power so that He can lead us down the road of life and use our journey for His Honor and Glory” (Gentle Spirit, 4/17). Thank You, Jesus, thank You for all!
