It is so easy during the holidays to be distracted by Christmas preparations that I forget what I am actually celebrating. The chorus of “How Many Kings?” by Downhere brings the true meaning of Christmas into focus for me …

How many lords have abandoned their homes?
How many greats have become the least for me?

Every time I hear this song it brings tears to my eyes… thinking of what our Heavenly Father and His Son did for me. For me.
As you celebrate, be sure to take time to remember what He did not only for you, but everyone you meet. Let that inspire and encourage you to share with others the good news that will cause great joy for all the people. (Luke 2:10)
