Looking for Peace
by Terry Geartz (Worship Arts Director)
We sing, we say and we pray, “God,
Thy will be done.” If we really mean it, we should be living in a state of
perfect peace.
So I ask myself, why am I not always at peace?
I think it’s very
easy to blame our fallen world which seems to be getting worse every day. But I
have a feeling that when we ask that God’s will be done, we are really looking
for His will to be done in a way we think is best. Something to think about.
Romans 12:2 “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
