Power of Prayer
I was so blessed when recently I attended a ministry event that was so bathed in prayer, I could feel God’s power as soon as I walked into the room. I knew that many people were in prayer around the clock praying for this event, but I was still amazed at how I could immediately feel God’s beautiful presence.
It reminded me of a time when I was waiting to go into surgery, and it was like God’s peace was poured over me. I even asked the doctors if they had given me some drugs already; of course they hadn’t. I later found out it was the exact time that a group of my church family had been praying for me.
I believe we often forget that one of the greatest gifts we could ever give someone is to lift them up in prayer. Joining with other believers in prayer can be life-changing, because in God’s hands lives are changed. Press on and pray on.
