I remember when Bob and I were going through some tough times – it was the little things that touched our heart the most. The meal that the neighbor dropped off, our lawn would be mowed by the time we got home, a friend that called me every day to see how we were doing.
Nothing has meant more to Bob and me than to pay that forward when someone we know is going through something. We have a friend who is currently going through treatment for cancer. Same type my husband went through, same course of treatment, and even the same oncologist. What a blessing for Bob and I to be able to “pay it forward” and do something for someone else. Just the simple act of delivering dinner on Sundays is not only a blessing to them, but I would have to say it is more of a blessing to us. It’s the little things.
Look around your own life, what little thing can you do today to bless someone else?
