On one of our recent staff prayer days, I finished the reflection we were working on and had some extra time so I went to pray on the hill behind the church. As I stood there praying, God spoke to me in a way that He hasn’t done in a while. He spoke to me through His Word, through a song, and through a picture that He gave me. Part of what He said to me was that He wasn’t going to tell me everything, but just wanted to prepare me for some things that are coming in my life. It was interesting how much hope came in the midst of Him speaking to me even though He didn’t tell me everything. Just the fact that I could remember that He is there and that He has a plan for my life gave me hope. If you’re feeling like you don’t have any hope today, remember that God is there and He has a plan for you! (Hebrews 11:1)
