Serve the Lord

“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.” Romans 12:9-13

Jesus gave us a choice in life to follow light or darkness. Either be a lost sheep till the end of your days or follow your Holy Shepherd who will guide you to the light.

Very often our inner human being chooses darkness instead of light because it’s easier, more comfortable and we are not willing to change our way of life or give up our earthly pleasures. Selfishness, judging, ego, rudeness, lack of humility and love, all these things are rotting us day by day and we don’t even see it.

But how can you see anything if you are surrounded by darkness?

There is no meaning to life, no hope….

Nothing can fulfill us completely whether it’s money, fame, or success. NOTHING!

But when you come to the Lord, everything above becomes meaningless.

The only thing that can give you hope and drive for the future is God. With God you find love, beauty of simplicity. You don’t lean on your own understanding, but just trust Him with every step, even when you don’t see where your next step will lay, you know it will be in His way. Whether it will be a failure or success, it doesn’t matter because God has a plan, for everybody and we just need to trust Him at all times and that’s what matters.
