Adjustments

Halftime is a very important part of every football game. It is a time for the players to get a much-needed rest and for the coaches to make adjustments. It is a time to ask hard questions like, “What is working? What is not working? What do we need to do differently in order for us to win the game?”

Halftimes come in all our lives at different times and seasons. They are a time for us to pause, breathe, reflect, and ask the Holy Spirit to give us wisdom and courage. Wisdom to know what is working, what is not working in our lives, and what needs to change. Holy Spirit adjustments need to be made in our lives so that God can shine brighter and be more present in our soul. Do we have the humility and courage to not only receive His answer but actively seek to make the adjustments and walk in the Spirit on this journey that He has called us to walk?

Halftimes are going to come and we not only need to take full advantage of the ones that God gives to us, but also need to be good teammates and help out our brothers and sisters during their halftimes.
