His Plans

Carey Dugan / Preschool Finance and Resource Coordinator

One morning while spending my time with God, I read this verse:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
This really stopped me and got me to think about my need to plan, to be ready for things, and to overthink everything. Yes, I must still plan dinner. But, after 2020 and the year of ever-changing plans, do I really need a plan? God did provide. He kept us healthy, happy, safe, and even gave us more quality time together as a family. I cannot say I’m going to be a free spirit, but I am ready to live in this verse, this idea. God’s got this, He always has, and always will. I can have peace and hope in these words.

2021 is just beginning and it is going to be better. A new year, a new chance, and a new beginning, and I’m excited to see what He has planned!
