Is Your Joy Complete?

If you are or have ever been a member of a small group, you have probably felt the joy of hearing how God is working in other people's lives. When brothers and sisters in the Lord share how they have seen and heard what God is doing, it really brings joy to our soul.

In 1 John 1:3-4, John is speaking of how we have fellowship with each other and with the Father and Son Jesus Christ as like-minded believers:
"We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We write this to make our joy complete."

When we share the fellowship and joy that we feel with those around us it completes our joy.

May God bless you as you complete your joy.

Small groups may not be happening in shared physical spaces during this unanticipated season of "social distancing" but there are many ways to keep from disconnecting from your small group. Try a video group chat, talk to one another on the phone, or join Pastor Justin for Wisdom Wednesdays as he wraps up our Emotionally Healthy Spirituality study LIVE on our Facebook Page  at 7pm.
