My Grace is Sufficient for You

Suk May Yei / Cross-Cultural Ministries Pastor

How joyous it is to observe the Lord’s command “In everything give thanks” (1 Thessalonians 5:18) and count all His blessings in our daily life! The Lord loves and blesses us all and there is no blessing too big or too small. I would like to share a few with you and would like to hear yours too … so grateful to the Lord!

Recent weeks:

1. Last minute appointment cancellation created the perfect time slot for me to have my hair cut before seeing my mom on her birthday;

2. Got lost a couple of times and finally found the Floral Clock on a gorgeous day, right before a rainy week;

3. Almost hit head-on two times by distracted drivers on narrow road/bridge … thank You, Lord for sparing the lives of those two drivers and me;

4. Drove through a heavy rainstorm minutes before severe flooding came in that drowned many cars … thank You, Lord, no casualties!

Thank You, Lord for turning things that look not so good into blessings (Nehemiah 13:2)!

In the past 29 years living in America – Thank you, Lord, who:

1. Exposes me to food of many nations in addition to the many that I have already tasted in Asia;

2. Brings so many new friends (different ethnicities and ages) into my life every time He calls me to a new neighborhood or city!

Thank You, Lord for making my dream “make disciples of all nations” come true (Matthew 28:18-20)!

Last but not least, this is the one that I love counting all the time: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

Like a Gospel newspaper that I just read, “All are by God’s Grace, not human strength!” Thank You, Jesus, thank You so much for all Your blessings and Your presence! Praise the Lord for all!
