On This I Will Stand

A few weeks ago before church, I was reminded by a woman to "keep a short record of wrongs." Then during service Pastor Pat reminded me that "life happens to ALL of us." These two thoughts have been brought back to my mind again and again by the Holy Spirit. When my head wants retribution, when my body is tired, when my heart aches for what is lost, 1 Samuel 30:6 says, "but David found strength in the Lord his God.” On this I will stand.

Psalm 143:10 “Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; may Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.”
