Anieta Hopper / Finance Manager

At a recent Staff Day of Prayer we were asked to pick a favorite Psalm to share with the team and also to pick out a phrase, word, or idea that stood out to us when Psalm 25 was being read aloud. The phrase that really struck me was “only He.” What a perfect tie in that was with Psalm 103 that I had chosen as one of my favorites.

Only He…forgives your sins
Only He…heals all your diseases
Only He…redeems your life from the pit
Only He…crowns you with love and compassion
Only He…satisfies your desires with good things
Only He…renews your youth like the eagle
Only He…works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed
Only He…is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love
Only He…will not accuse nor will He harbor His anger forever
Only He…does not treat you as your sins deserve or repay you according to your iniquities
Only He…has love for you as high as the heavens are above the earth
Only He…removes your transgressions from you as far as the east is from the west
Only He…has compassion on you as a father for His child because He knows your frailty and weaknesses
Only He…has from everlasting to everlasting love for you
Only He…has promised that His righteousness would be those who obey His precepts

Only He. Only He can satisfy your deepest longings. Only He is all you need. Only He is worthy of your praise and adoration. Only He…
